always thought that a 3g with a seriously tweeked crv drive train would be cool.
Crv drive train is weak. You would want to use the wagnovan drive train. But to make it easy all you have to do is a b swap first the get the rear different and the drive shift is gonna be custom. Epic tuning makes kkits for this and I will work on just about any honda
4WD Wagovan drive train is going to be haaaaard to find.

Theres one at the jy down the street from my house an wanted to know if it was ever done
romonharvey you seem ambitious, go for it, go strip the whole outdrive off that wagovan! it won't wont be a bokt on affair so using a d series engine will make it easier since you need that transaxle, otherwise there are plenty other models than Honda to get drivetrain for awd but you would need the transmission transaxle to make it work. Even rwd platform 4x4 that use unibody construction might be a way to do it. If you wanted to make a lifted 4x4 then chevy gm S series blazer full frame chassis would be the way to go.
Yeah, if there's one at the junkyard, you better go grab it cause you'll never see one again.

I agree with Snooz. Grab ALL of the running gear. Even if you don't use it, someone will want it.
