    A20 vs F22 injectors

I can't seem to find this information - I've read that the 4G injectors drop into the 3G and will work. What are the flow ratings on the stock A20 injectors, stock 4G (F22) injectors, and since i have a set, the B20A (JDM) injectors?

If you look at the application information at a place like rock auto, you'll notice that most of the injectors fit everything accord from like 85/86 up to 1997. I've used 1G legend injectors in a 4G accord without any issue.

I have no idea about flow rates.

The flow rates are the same.

Also you can have any size injector, but it will flow the same without tuning.

I'm pretty sure I'm misunderstanding what you are saying - BUT just in case:

I think you are saying that the size of the injector doesn't matter, and that the injector will flow the same as stock without tuning. That's incorrect. Assuming stock is 235cc / minute, the ECM pulses a specific length of time per load input of the engine. If I put 470cc injectors in there (to keep the math super simple) - I would be dumping exactly 2x as much fuel into the engine.

Say the ECM pulses 0.15ms at 2500 rpm cruise. At 235cc/minute injector flow rate, I will have flowed ~0.0006cc of fuel in that single pulse. If I have 470cc/minute injector flow rate, then I will have flowed ~0.0012cc of fuel in that pulse.

Now, the Oxygen sensor will scream OMG RICH and the ECM will be all "keep your shirt on, I'm pulling some fuel" - but that's usually got a 10-15% maximum range. 15% will not make up for 100% more fuel.

Also, these non-heated one wire o2 sensors aren't going to do ANYTHING until the engine is warmed up, so even if the computer could keep up with the mixture, it would still have trouble when cold.

Though I will say that flow rate might be at maximum allowed fuel pressure. For example, the NSX had a two speed fuel pump. Some of those higher flowing injectors might only be pressure an accord cannot generate.

    rofl @ apache07x

Jafir, most injectors (to my knowledge) are rated for flow @ 45psi.
