well this one is local, I got up at 6am this morning to be the first one to see it. It is nice, but just a little too much project for me, I would have jumped on it had it been just a little more cherry. Still would if it was after the Holidays...
asking 500, they went down to 450 but I had 350-400 in mind, If he doesnt sell it by this afternoon I will make another offer.
runs and drives, has one dent on the drivers door, not really bad, the mouldings were all crap, peeling. the intereior was fair, faded badly but clean, door panels rotted some. Everything else works and checks out ok.[IMG][/IMG]

wow, seeing the picture on the big screen kind of makes me ill, I would love to have this car after some actually minor but time consuming restorations...

if it were 5 sp that may or may not have tilted the scales towards me buying it.
I am kind of appreciating the hatches more and more, they are somewhat scarce, very light..I could really tell the difference on the test drive that car felt 500 lbs lighter, I am not sure what the actual spec is right this minute..

It had a real streight body, the car was intact, very restoreable, I will probably never see another one

crap I called him a minute ago, the person after me bought it for 450. I wish I could have got it and put it up till spring but the cards did not fall that way... It was a great hull to work with but it just didnt quite meet my needs as of this week.
there was frost on the car pretty thick and the guy rinsed it off, that is why it looks so bad there. The interior was the deal breaker, it was faded bad and sun bleeched.
