yeah but i mean with the parts on it, it would haul a bit of ass i would throw a vtec timer on it. the zex would be really nice to. he old wants 800-1000 for it. would the crz b20 be a straight drop?

a 93 z34 that's getting parted out, an 86 accord lx that now lives in a j/y, and a 90 camry le that the state no longer allows me to drive. soon to be replaced with an aprilia rs50 or a derbi gpr.

Dude, not worth it!!!!! D-series are extreme bitch for not much power and even $800 or $1k is too goddamn much to pay for a gutless motor that has to be custom everythinged to even get to work in a 3g!!

Also about the B20A: there are a lot of aftermarket parts from USDM cars that will work on the JDM motor. Search for B20A parts or ask one of the people that have dropped or are in the process of dropping a B20A. There's not as much aftermarket as for Civic motors but between what's available and what can be done custom, it will still be cheaper than trying to adapt a D motor to work in your car!

The CRV b20 is not a direct drop in. You'd have to get the mounts, axles and harness for it just like you would do if you were to drop in the b16 from a SI.

place racing makes a kit to install the b series motor to the 3g for about $1100.

Oh yeah....DONT GO WITH ZEX. You're just asking for trouble.

Umm get a JDM b20a. I'm getting one in a matter of a couple of weeks and maybe you should get one too so we can get a discount. b20turbo has them. $1200 + shipping (that's regular price, it will be discounted if we buy in together) And this motor drops right in. 160hp with like 140ft lbs of torque.
