what is the tyre size, they look massiiveeee
I kinda like them
they're 215/40/17. apparently smaller diameter than my white wheels
i pulled the motor out of the poolude
pulled it apart, not too bad back there
gave it a bit of a water blast
appears that the rocker cover was actually polished at some stage, but now its oxidizing lol.
i put the manifolds from the other h22 onto this one and swapped the cams too, not sure if they where any differences between anything i changed though.
now it's all ready for me to pull the motor out of the accord and chuck this one in
meann
Noes y u no cover the intake/exhaust ports lolol
little bit of rust on the bores is all good. stronger (Y)
i'm sure it's all been burnt off by now lol
why does it work?
why does what work?
f20a
gtfo
swapping shit around
time to install
have the hoist randomly fail and drop the motor lol
all bolted in (Y)
up and running
and i painted this thing
still quite a bit of stuff left to do, but it goes now

fail
goodgoodgoodgoodgoodgoodgoodgood
mostly done with a nissan maxima grey rocker cover cause i don't any black paint and a smaller battery cause the big one wont fit with the intake
looking gooood
well that lasted long, i'll be pulling it back out in the morning cause i believe the auto tensioner is failing lol. i need it going again by thursday to drive it 500 or so km reliably, so i may either put the f20 back in there for the week and get a new cam belt kit for the h22, or put another auto tensioner on the h22 and use it like that. thats what happens when you rush things.
in other news i painted the exhaust heat shield black
I reckon the engine bay looks perfect, now that i have to pull it all out again haha

Vtaks
useless h22a motors and all their extra belts and junk! lol
coming from mister 500 b20as lol. it turned out to be a false alarm, problem was the crank pulley bolt was loose and the pulley was wobbling around making heaps of noise
I would like to see how you undo/tighten your crank pulley bolt
i had to lower the engine on that side to fit the socket & ratchet in there, then jack the car up on that side and stuck a screw driver in the brake rotor vent & put it in 5th gear then tighten, then forget the screw driver is in the rotor and attempt to drive away with it still in there lol
haha thank god it was something easy!
indeed, i wasn't keen on removing it this soon after installing it
bought me an lsd gearbox today, came with a free car
what a piece of SHIT. does it go?
