wow see this enforces whtat a lot of us have been saying for years about teh quality that they were made with. i remember i said something pertaining to this and steve got all huffy, but in my opinion they look primitive and cheap... hopefully they will be nice and beefy when innovative makes them.

I want a price before I drop cash on them, but yes I will buy asap if they are reasonable
Like i said many times i am not asking for the deposit until i get a final price on the mounts that way if the price is to high you can back out. But if you put your deposit then change your mind there is no refunds but you can sell your spot to someone else to get your money back. Once i close the list and make the order thats it but there will be some one who will want them after it's to late.

This is something that I would love to be in on, but I just have too much on my plate right now, sorry guys. Maybe next time..
Can't wait to see them, though.
now wouldnt these mounts work with the 2nd gen prelude seeing as how the had an a series motor?
88 DX hatch.
The crossmembers in the Prelude don't even match up between the A18 and A20 models, so most likely only some of these mounts will work. Maybe the left side and a front one. You'd still have to make a right mount and probably a rear mount as well for the Prelude. The brackets that bolt to the engine are different between the Accord and Prelude. Ask Wohdog, even the B20A won't swap directly between the two cars. You gotta use the Accord brackets and that's why some of them sit weird in the engine bay. I bet the framerails aren't spaced the same in the Prelude and Accord either.

what's the left side and the front one secondgen?
the driver side and the non existent front mount?
the passenger side would line up since you pretty much need to weld that bracket to your car anyway, and the driver side would more than likely fit as long as the bay isn't any wider or the mount isn't moved up any. as far as the rear most people i have read about say you need to weld that in for it to be sturdy at all too so my thoughts of positioning it then welding may work as well, at any rate they are made for the 3g not the prelude so i would say that if your buying mounts for a different car you should know what you're getting into in order to make them work right?

Well there ya go then. You've eliminated it down to one mount that works, the left side. Since the driver's side can be left or right depending on where you live, I'll call it the left side, since it's always on the left side of the car. Left and right don't change depending on where you live. If you have to weld all this stuff together for it to be sturdy, what's the point? I think that the mounts that TwoLoud has made will probably not need that.

here was my point, left and right side change with where you are and where you live. driver and passenger don't.
as far as the welding point goes, why put a k in anything but an 01-05 or an rsx? you have to weld so what's the point? i understand where you're coming from but it's just like a bolt in roll cage, if you weld it in it's going to be way more sturdy. the accord doesn't have a transmission mount the same as the b, or the d so you need to add the bracket. if you use bolts to bolt it in yeah that's fine, but then why didn't honda do that to begin with? i like to believe it's because welding is a better idea.
but like i said, these are for the 3g and if prelude owners want to modify then they can, it's still gonna be more than they have currently to do anything with their car.
