I just went through this thread and say 2 thumbs up for all of the awesome fab involved. Great video except you almost shortened the rear up one time shaving off them cones. Keep warm I know winter is coming. I bet this spring we will see a boosted rwd Accord!!
wow 3geez has gotten a lot crazier since I used to be on here
.
happy new year everyone...
how did my thread end up in " Accord Pics & Videos"
... maybe it should be atleast moved back to performance if it cant be in the garage section.. thanks..
Maybe because we need more PICS and VIDS?!
i want to hear more updates!! haha
moving slow as dirt right now lol... and i'm still thinking.
damnit vector, that thing in your sig is making me nauseous.
Still in awe over the car though.
If no one complains to me I'll be happy to move the thread to the project forum.
EDIT: oh wait, you need to be a foundation member. I'm still getting up to speed on the changes around here.
I'll pop it into the performance section, but first your sig must die!
J/K

yay.. weather is almost warm enough for me to pull the hatch out of the garage and work on it again(that was my problem why i never worked on it.. no space around it)...
this saturday.. i get my hands on a 97 accord exr.. motor was already swapped out with a lesser one.. but i'm basically going to strip it for 150 bucks... since i also own a 94.. need spare parts where ever i can get them cheap..
i will most likely convert the front of the hatch to 4x114 as well with the extra parts i get..
on engine sides... i have been pretty screwed for huge amounts of cash due to utilties going up... so i've stripped my h's and gonna send them to machine shop for checking/cleaning and i will slowly build one for the summer.. i still have turbo stuff.. but no cash for ecu, and still missing a couple flanges..
found a fully machined f22b1 head, cheap.. will follow with updates..
arg, starter went in the accord.... head'll have to wait.
sorry not much of an update lol..
damn fail updates
on a side note let me get some parts from that spair exr
what did you need off of it, i can tell you if its still there as i pretty much know the car inside/out lol..
i doubt any of it is worth shiping or on some of it would cost TO much to ship
rear disk swap/rear sway
possibly front headlights/corners if difrent then usdm spec design, if same just drivers side marker
rear 6x9 speaker rings
5 speed parts?
cant remember what else lol
everytihng else are just body panels that are to much to ship wich all of this would most likely be better off to just find localy
yea there wasnt a whole lot left on the car... i already yanked the front/rear suspension for my cars... the motor/trans was an automatic...but the trany's screwed...
the only interior really left in it are dirty seats that are not bolted down... everything from the dash was removed and same as rear deck..
oh and the car was rolled... the main reason i picked up.. so the body itself is fairly mashed.. all the good lights were removed before i got it..
PICTURESSS!!1!..
bunchof small things i thought i'd share..
97 exr parts car pretty stripped.. theres a few more things that need to come out.. but later.
free engine dropped off randomly, still runs fine.. later diagnosis lead to the timing belt jumping a tooth, AFTER it was swapped. will make a good spare for 1 of my cars lol.
and now to my rwd project. i was not pleased with the wiring job as it was rushed. the weather lately has been relativly nice soo i've pulled the wiring and decided to work on the interior.. so far heres what i got..
i took alittle more than i probably needed to off the rear corner panels, got carried away with the rotozip lol... oh well still looks much better than it used to.. i plan on making panels out of plexi to cover the gaps between engine compartment and the interior panels..
once the car is running again, i will be moving it for the 86 4dr and prepping it for the itr swap..

horray for interior panels...
good work on the "thumping stereo" in your hatch man
now hurry up before my crx is done and you're still working on the h swap :P
i didnt really read the whole thread...but arent you worried about the heat? are you going to create vents on the side of the car? to bring some ambient air in? or just ride with the windows open lol
