ive used stealthmode performance oil fittings/lines/adaptors and restrictors before, and have yet to find a better adapter in particular... what ecu are you using now? I would reccomend finding better managemant than just the aeromotive rising FPR, id just get a chipped p05/p06/p28 etc and run crome, Itll be 100000x better than using anything else short of a standalone.

    Re: Project X: RWD Accord

got around to spliting the h22 rodknock engine...

rod 3 has about 1/8" play all around crank, and there were paper thin strips of bearing in the oilpan.. soo yea its gonna need some parts...

on a plus side i found out that the motor has a brand new clutch/pressure plate bolted to it.. so that saves me a chunk of cash. not even dust on it.. also explains where this mysterious new throw bearing came from haha.

so heres what i was thinking.

    n/a build on this engine:

12:1 comp with je pistons/eagle rods
balance crank and delete balancer shafts
    valve springs
    cams
    itbs
    light flywheel

    should make some decent power.

i'm still gonna have the turbo F.. this will just replace it when it explodes lol.

    Re: Project X: RWD Accord

recut the vid.. added some music...

    http://vimeo.com/6989152?hd=1

put the car back in the garage. todo list in order:

    • remove engine wiring
    • remove coolant lines
    • find spot for turbo/wg/bov
    • build custom inlet and outlet down pipes
    • make custom charge pipes
    • order my chip for my ecu
    • recut/modify engine wiring harness
    • connect guages
    • modify rear bumper for exhaust
    • build custom exhaust
    • make and fit belly pan
    • reinstall it all

i will post up pics and check things off the list as i go.

i want to order some wheel adapters, i dont know what you guys think of them.. but i want to widen the cars stance and run some flares, make the car look alittle diferent. also want to convert the front to 4x114.3 from 4x100 so its the same as the rear.

also will have to figure what to do for flares if i go this route.

for the front i was lookin @ http://www.ezaccessory.com/Wheel_Ada.../4100-4450.htm
for te rear i was looking @ http://www.ezaccessory.com/Wheel_Ada.../4450-4450.htm

    Re: Project X: RWD Accord

if your going to do all that...put some type S pistons and in a h22 block or even a h23. and tuned....my buddy has that in his cb7...felt like it had boost. no traction what so ever. he had a f22 crank and rods type s pistons. h22a block. h23 head...or someshit. but good to see your going to up the power bro....

Tunning just get a p28 an rechip it. P06s you would need to have it made for vtec since your a h22 your going to have vtec anyways....lol

But im hyped for your setup bro...those fucking h series are all over the place over here nothing but raw power.....Post pics while you build this beast.

you well easy push 220/240 out of the box tuned even with the f22 crank and rods. and type s pistons. my buddy IS D12 that is on CB7tuner.com i know you hear him alot on there. His company is CrazyTunning. He tunned my shit for free and man that guy knows his shit.....But sorry for the long post LOL

yea the h22 will be NA power and the f22 will be turbo.. depending on how long the turbo setup lasts.. is how long it will take before the H goes in lol.

The motor plans sound awesome... Excited to see that thing go with some more power behind it.

As far as the bolt pattern adapters, I am personally a bit skeptical on them, but as long as you stick with a brand like H&R or something I would say give it a try... I would love to see some flares on the back end, would look cool seeing as it's something different. Get some lower offset wheels on there to match up with them too.

We run spacers on our 4x4's and as long as you get them tight the first time and re-torque them after a couple hundred miles, they will last forever.
